As physics is sometimes math-heavy, you might find yourself needing to post an equation that can't be accomplished with BBCode. This can seem rather cumbersome, so I have shown some steps on how to post equations in these forums. Some of you may have experience on posting equations, and if you do, feel free to stop reading. For those who don't, I recommend this site for quick and easy equation editing online.
1. Input your equation text into the editor.
2. Change the background color to transparent and the file format to png (to better match the forums' style) and copy the forum embed link.
Now, you can paste your equation in. Here is the example:
